1. Before ordering your signs:
Make sure before ordering your new magnet signs that your
vehicle doors are steel! Some newer vehicles have body panels made from
fiberglass or aluminum. Magnet Signs will not stick to these
surfaces!
Find out if the vehicle has been in an accident, bondo or auto
putty is plastic, these surfaces are not magnetic and can cause a loose
magnetic attraction, resulting in your magnet sign flying off of your
vehicle!
2. Proper storage of your
magnet Signs:
When not using your magnetic signs, store them in a cool dry
place. A refrigerator or file cabinet is a great place. Never lay them face to
face or store in a hot vehicle! Never roll or fold your magnet signs, this can
cause your signs to deform or crack.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Keep your magnetic signs clean! The surface as
well as the back of the sign should be cleaned with warm soap and water! Never
use harsh chemicals, including, bleach, ammonia, or any orange citrus based
cleaning products. These product can damage the sign surface. Cleaning is
important part of the life or your signs, dirt, dust and moisture can build up
between the vehicle surface and your signs, this can cause your magnet signs to
loose some of its magnetic holding power, resulting in the sign flying off the
vehicle! Always make sure the surface is clean and dry!
4. Take care using cleaning
chemicals.
Use only synthetic waxes or polish. Never use real wax based
wax behind the magnetic signs! This will act like a glue and can permanently
bond the sign to your vehicle! Never clean the back of the magnetic with an
Amour All or like substance, this will make the sign slippery and may result in
sign flying off of vehicle.
5. Normal
Wear and Tear
The environment is a very harsh place. Sun, cold, rain, and road grim
can play havoc on your magnet signs. By keeping your signs clean and by storing
your signs using the steps above, you magnet signs can last for years.
